Kodak EC35: A Dirt-Cheap Point-and-Shoot Film Camera for $35

Following the success of its $99 Kodak-branded Snapic A1, Reto Project has unveiled the Kodak EC35, an even more budget-friendly 35mm film camera priced at just $34.99. The EC35 is deliberately basic, featuring a 25mm acrylic lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and a 1/100 shutter speed, putting it on par with a drugstore disposable camera. It includes manual wind and rewind, and a built-in automatic flash to enhance that disposable aesthetic. Unlike the A1, it lacks double exposure and zone focusing, designed for effortless, no-thought operation. Its standout feature is a sliding lens cover that powers the flash. The camera is available in five colors, including a retro avocado green.
