Framework Laptop 13 Pro Faces RAM Shortage and Price Hike

Framework has announced a significant and unfortunate pricing update for its upcoming premium laptop, the Laptop 13 Pro, due to a sharp increase in memory module costs. The company revealed that its memory supplier has imposed cost updates that are more than double the previous inventory prices. While Framework has enough LPCAMM2 memory modules to cover all existing preorders, the mix of 64GB, 32GB, and 16GB modules does not match all preorder configurations. As a result, some customers are being notified that their desired memory configuration may not be available immediately. Framework is working to adjust orders and provide alternatives.
